On January 17, 2019, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released domestic commodity invitation for offer to sell Tree Nuts to the AMS Master Solicitation for use in the National School Lunch Program and other Federal Food and Nutrition Assistance Programs. The invitation for bids is part of the Food Purchase and Distribution Program and is designed to assist the industry in response to trade damage from the recent “unjustified tariff retaliation” from other countries.

TREE NUT, SOLICITATION NO. 2000005850

The invitation for bids opened January 17, 2019. You must submit all offers by February 7, 2019 in order to be eligible. The acceptance of the offers will be announced by midnight, Thursday, February 28, 2019. Deliveries are to be made between April 1, 2019 and June 30, 2019.
