NASS Survey – December 2019 Crop Estimate Report

Industry funded the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) to conduct the December Pecan Crop Estimate Report, which is used to help determine the size of the 2019 pecan crop. The states of interest are Arizona, Georgia, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The publication date/time will be 12:00 PM Eastern Time on December 10, 2019 in the Crop Production report. Preliminary estimates for the 2019 pecan crop will be included in the report for all major producing states. Survey instructions are included below. All NASS reports are available online at www.nass.usda.gov. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Council office at (817) 916-0020.

Complete your survey in one of the following ways:

  • Online at www.agcounts.usda.gov beginning on Thursday, November 21, 2019. Online reporting is fast, cost-effective, and secure. All you need is the 17-digit survey code on the enclosed form to begin.
  • By mail or fax. Complete the survey questionnaire and mail it back in the return envelope provided or fax it to 1-855-270-2725.
