Foodservice is a $2.6 trillion market, and it's where 58.5% of all food dollars are spent in America today. Understanding how this massive channel works can change how you think about your buyers, your contracts, and the value of your crop.

The American Pecan Promotion Board is inviting pecan companies and organizations interested in mid-to-large-scale foodservice distribution to attend a Food Service 101 Bootcamp at our offices in Irving, TX on July 28. The full-day bootcamp will help you learn more about the big opportunities for pecans, hosted by foodservice strategy agency Kinetic12.

In this session, you'll learn:

  • What foodservice actually is: from fast food chains to hospitals to hotel dining rooms.
  • How food moves from manufacturer to distributor to operator (and where you fit in).
  • Who are the biggest buyers and what they're looking for from suppliers.
  • What operators say they need most right now and how that creates opportunity for you and your team.
Whether you're new to selling into foodservice, or just want to sharpen your knowledge, this session is built to give you practical, usable insights.
