APC Nominations for Vacant Seats

The American Pecan Council (APC) is seeking interested parties to fill vacancies on the Council. In accordance with Council policy, any vacancy will be filled by a majority vote for the unexpired portion of the term. While nominations must be presented by voting Council members, industry members are encouraged to submit names of eligible candidates for consideration. These names will be reviewed during an upcoming Council meeting. Please submit names to [email protected]. Vacant Seats for APC Council:

Grower Seats:

Western Grower Seat 1 Alternate – Term ends 2028 (Acreage must equal or exceed 176 pecan acres)

Eastern Grower Seat 1 Member – Term ends 2028 (Acreage must equal or exceed 176 pecan acres)

Central Grower Seat 2 Member – Term ends 2026 (Acreage must equal or exceed 176 pecan acres)


Sheller Seats:

Western Sheller Seat 1 Alternate – Term ends 2028 (Must handle more than 12.5 million pounds of in-shell pecans in the fiscal year preceding the nomination)

Eastern Sheller Seat 1 Member – Term ends 2028 (Must handle more than 12.5 million pounds of in-shell pecans in the fiscal year preceding the nomination)

Western Sheller Seat 2 Alternate – Term ends 2026 (Must handle 12.5 million pounds or less of in-shell pecans in the fiscal year preceding the nomination)

Eastern Region: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina

Central Region: Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas
