APC Nominations for Seats with Terms Beginning October 2026

The American Pecan Council (APC) is seeking interested and eligible industry members to submit nominations for Council seats with terms beginning in October 2026. The nomination form and a detailed list of open seats are provided below.

In accordance with the Council Order, nominations for grower and sheller member seats must be submitted by growers and shellers within the corresponding region using the approved nomination forms linked below. To submit a nomination, please complete both the Nomination Forms and send them to [email protected] by March 31, 2026

Seats Open for Terms Beginning October 2026

Grower Seats

  • Western Grower Seat 2 – Member & Alternate (Nomination Form)
    Term ends 2030; acreage equal to or exceeding 176 pecan acres
  • Central Grower Seat 2 – Member & Alternate (Nomination Form)
    Term ends 2030; acreage equal to or exceeding 176 pecan acres
  • Eastern Grower Seat 2 – Member & Alternate (Nomination Form)
    Term ends 2030; acreage equal to or exceeding 176 pecan acres
  • Eastern Grower Seat 3 – Member & Alternate (Nomination Form)
    Term ends 2030; acreage less than 176 pecan acres

Sheller Seats

  • Western Sheller Seat 2 – Member & Alternate (Nomination Form)
    Term ends 2030; must handle ≤ 12.5 million pounds of in-shell pecans in the fiscal year preceding nomination
  • Central Sheller Seat 2 – Member & Alternate (Nomination Form)
    Term ends 2030; must handle ≤ 12.5 million pounds of in-shell pecans in the fiscal year preceding nomination
  • Eastern Sheller Seat 2 – Member & Alternate (Nomination Form)
    Term ends 2030; must handle ≤ 12.5 million pounds of in-shell pecans in the fiscal year preceding nomination


APC Nominations for Vacant Seats

The American Pecan Council (APC) is also seeking nominations to fill current vacancies on the Council. In accordance with Council policy, vacancies are filled by a majority vote to complete the unexpired term. While formal nominations must be submitted by voting Council members, industry members are encouraged to submit the names of qualified individuals for consideration. These submissions will be reviewed during an upcoming Council meeting.

  • Western Sheller Seat 1 – Alternate (Nomination Form)
    Term ends 2028; must handle more than 12.5 million pounds of in-shell pecans in the fiscal year preceding nomination

  • Central Region: Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas
